What is a ball screw?
Ball screw is a rolling system, including screw, nut and a certain number of rolling elements. During the rolling process, the trajectory of the ball on the nut is determined by the nut holder.
The advantages of the ball screw: The ball screw rolls like a ball bearing. Balls with or more thread tracks inside. The use of rolling conflicts gives the system the following advantages.
High power: rotary motion becomes linear motion with power exceeding 90 percent ; linear motion becomes rotary motion with a slightly lower power of 90 percent , compact structure, small starting torque, low wear and high reversibility.

The ball screw is suitable for high-speed and high-precision occasions. In this way, the two ends are separated by a pair of bearings restraining the axial and radial degrees of freedom, and the load is borne by the two sets of bearing pairs. It is also possible to make the bearing pairs at both ends receive the reverse pretension, and then perform transmission rigidity. When the positioning requirements are high, it is even possible to accurately set the target stroke compensation according to the force condition and the thermal deformation trend of the lead screw to further improve the positioning accuracy. Sometimes, the fixed-fixed type is also called one-sided double push-double push. In fact, due to the existence of radial force, there are rarely two thrust bearings as fixed ends. Because this method is complicated in structure and difficult to adjust, it is generally only used when positioning requirements are high.
